HVAC Service Technician

Job Description Thermocool presently seeking a mechanically driven full-time service technician primarily for residential and limited light commercial applications.If you are looking for a fast growing organization, with upward mobility that still believes in the core principals of our trade then welcome home!What we offer:Personal and family medical insurance plan.Supplemental insurance plans above our base plans.401k enrollment & employer 401k matching.Company cell phone, tablet and company provided take home vehicle.Company provided uniforms & annual clothing restock.Comprehensive bonus packages.Paid vacation and holidays.What this service tech position calls for:Hard skill requirements:Ability to diagnose, service, maintain and repair all brands of central heating and cooling systems.Knowledge in Forced air, hydronics, and electric heating systems.Solid person to person customer service skills and ability to communicate with customers directly.Knowledge of refrigerant, gas, electric furnaces and heat pump systems.Developed understanding of HVAC low voltage, and line voltage systems.Ability to read, understand and implement practices to meet New Jersey and local construction codes.Ability to work with customers directly in their homes in a clean, sanitary and respectable fashion.Soft Skill requirements:Pass background check and drug screeningAbility to manage on-call requests for service when on rotation.EPA universal section 608.Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.High school diploma or it's equivalent.Ability to maintain, re-stock and keep clean a company vehicle.Ability to communicate with dispatch, and team members on current and daily work goals.Ability to fill out and submit where required all company documentation, as well as follow company procedures and policy.Be willing to enroll in continued education, training and willing to learn.Summary:Typical work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and will require overtime and occasional weekends during peak seasons.This position will place job seeker in an on-call rotation.Job may sometimes call for odds and end repairs on new construction sites post final installation.Occasional continued education days or evenings may be designated for team training should be attended.Job Type: Full-timeCompany DescriptionOur company has performed thousands of installations since it's inception in 2008.
