About the RoleAvsar Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Scheduler to support project delivery through schedule development, analysis, and reporting. This role works closely with project managers and contractors to review, analyze, and maintain construction schedules, ensuring projects remain aligned with approved scope, logic, milestones, and performance objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesReview contractor Primavera P6 baseline construction schedules and identify missing scope, logic gaps, milestones, and critical path issues.Analyze cost loading and provide written technical schedule review comments based on structured review standards.Review contractor monthly schedule updates and prepare written comments documenting milestone slippage, critical path movement, and overall schedule performance.Create activity filters, layouts, bar charts, and reports using Primavera P6 to support project teams in analyzing schedule risks and impacts.Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals to ensure conformance with contract scope, sequencing, and scheduling guidelines.Validate logic ties and schedule integrity for various project types.Ensure proper use of program-level standard codes, layouts, and reporting formats to maintain data accuracy.Develop Earned Value curves and schedule performance metrics.Prepare dashboards and written reports and assist scheduling management with program reporting needs.Minimum RequirementsRequired ExperienceMinimum 3 years of full-time professional experience in construction scheduling for an Owner, Program Manager, or General Contractor.Experience supporting multiple projects within a program environment is preferred.Required SkillsProficiency in Primavera P6 (latest versions) and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents to understand scope of work.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to build productive working relationships with project teams and stakeholders.Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills.Required EducationBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.Benefits401(k) retirement planComprehensive Health Insurance (medical, dental, and vision)Paid Time Off for personal and vacation daysPlease note that we are only able to interview candidates that meet the minimum requirements of the role.
