Machine Operator (Converting) -3rd Shift

Shift: 3rd Shift

Schedule: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., Sunday-Thursday

About the Opportunity: We are seeking a dependable and motivated Converting Operator to join our flexible packaging manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll prepare, run, and maintain high‑speed equipment to convert plastic film to a bag. What You Will Do: Set up and complete safe operation of a pouch machine Monitor and adjust for differences in bag sizes during set up Resolve mechanical issues as needed Remove finished film from the machine and stage it on pallets for pickup Keep the pouch/bag machine area well supplied with materials for the next shift Continuously monitor pouch/bag machine operations for efficiency, quality and minimal scrap Ensure production of high quality products Maintain accurate production records Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and meet OSHA standards Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment Complete rework tasks as needed What You Have to Offer Ability to read a measuring tape Strong desire to learn and grow within manufacturing Ability to read, write, and follow simple, clear instructions Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills What We Have to Offer Group insurance (health, dental, life, disability, and travel) Immediately vested 401(k) with company match Paid time off Onsite gym access Opportunities for employee‑involved decision‑making Collaborative environment where your contributions make a direct impact Employee perks including supplier and service discount Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
