Executive Head Housekeeper

We are an operation that operates 24/7, 365 days a year. Therefore, weekends and holidays are required. As this is a limited-service hotel, in this position, you are expected to lead by example. There are many days it will be expected that you will also clean rooms alongside your team. This is a VERY hands on position. Experience and a positive, encouraging/motivating attitude will be sought after. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team. As a Head Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our establishment. Responsibilities - Oversee and coordinate the daily cleaning operations - Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff - Inspect rooms and common areas for cleanliness and compliance with established standards - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment - Develop and implement cleaning schedules - Handle customer complaints and special requests - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations -Create weekly housekeeping staff schedules -Conduct carbon monoxide inspections monthly -Clean rooms as needed with your team Skills - Proven experience in floor care, hotel, hospitality, or industrial cleaning - Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork - Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness - Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping management is a plus -Great communications skills and the ability to inspire teamwork As a vital role in management, you will take part in regular meeting and trainings and well as be involved in any coaching and disciplinary actions that are needed.
