This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy by conducting root cause analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.Key Responsibilities:Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including shortages, overages, and misplacementsConduct root cause analysis on inventory variances and document findingsReconcile system inventory with physical counts through cycle counts and auditsCollaborate with operations, receiving, shipping, and quality teams to resolve exceptionsMonitor and manage exception reports, ensuring timely and accurate resolutionMaintain detailed records of inventory adjustments and investigationsIdentify trends and recommend process improvements to reduce recurring discrepanciesSupport cycle count programs and assist with physical inventory auditsEnsure compliance with company policies and inventory control proceduresOther duties as assignedQualifications:High School diploma / GED is preferredMinimum of 1 year of related experience in a warehouse environmentWorking knowledge to work accurately through WMS and Microsoft Office systemsMaintain business confidentialityMust have good communication skills both verbal and writtenAvailable to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as neededMust display a strong work ethic and sense of urgencyAbility to work in a team-based, feedback friendly, environmentDisplay high attention to detail and a process-driven mindsetMust be knowledgeable and abide by all company safety policies and proceduresPrevious work experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environmentAbility to be on your feet for 8+ hours a dayMust be able to work in a production environment that involves lifting boxes and product up to 40 pounds.Preferred Skills:Experience with RF scanners and inventory tracking systemsFamiliarity with cycle counting and inventory audit processesBIC World is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
