Team Lead (Early Morning)
POSITION: Production Team Lead
LOCATION: Washington
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide assistance with daily requirements of production and
maintain a clean working area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure adherence to overall production requirements for a designated area
Responsible for quality, production and safety targets for designated production area
Maintain a high level of professional conduct including confidentiality when required
Responsible for holding daily huddle meetings to communicate initiatives to team
Ability to set up any equipment in designated area
Follow and adhere to daily production schedule
Complete and verify necessary documentation, including but not limited to Travelers, Shift reports, work orders, Production tags, etc.
Effectively communicate and obtain crucial work related information to team members and to other internal partners
Communicate relevant work related concerns and continuous improvement initiatives to the Production Supervisor
Training of all personnel in designated area
Supports and enforces safety regulations and company policies including reporting requirements
Approve employee payroll through ADP hand punch system,
Manage and schedule employee vacation time,
Ensure finished goods meet quality standards
May provide advice to the Production Supervisor to assist them in making decisions with respect to employee related issues such as, but not limited to, performance reviews and disciplinary/ corrective action

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor and Operation Manager
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to train and share knowledge
Effective communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
Ability to read drawings
Comprehension of written documentation
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred.
REQUIRED TRAINING:
Hazardous Materials Communication
All applicable Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
Olon specific training for designated position
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB:
Must be able to work full shift with the potential for daily overtime.
Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs on a frequent basis and 50lbs on occasion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
