We are the world's trusted consulting firm, partnering with clients to solve complex challenges and build legacies for future generations.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Design Manager to oversee semiconductor manufacturing or advanced manufacturing projects. The role is based in the United States with remote flexibility and may involve hybrid work if located near a regional office.ResponsibilitiesLead the semiconductor manufacturing facility design team to deliver high-quality projects on schedule.Manage project resources, including onboarding and off-boarding staff.Coordinate delivery teams consisting of semiconductor SMEs and local engineers.Host and attend meetings with clients and stakeholders.Identify problems early and develop creative solutions.Foster a collaborative team culture.Proactively manage and communicate change.Conduct peer reviews and quality checks in line with client and AECOM standards.Provide project updates and resolve outstanding issues.Develop technical and financial proposals.Build trusting relationships with clients.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in architecture, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.Ten (10) years of relevant experience or education equivalency, including two (2) years of leadership experience.Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (P.E.) or Architecture License.Ten years of design and/or project management experience.Five years of semiconductor design experience.Strong situational awareness, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal judgment.Excellent written and oral communication.Ability to work in dynamic, time-sensitive situations with minimal oversight.Team leadership and presentation skills.Additional InformationCompensation range: $185,000 to $240,000 annually, adjusted for education, experience, and location.
