Board Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Trauma & Critical Care Surgeons provide exceptional coverage in our department. Our trauma team of board-certified or board-eligible trauma and critical care surgeons treats community children and adults 24/7. A Pediatric Emergency Department with board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians, an Acute Psychiatric Unit with dedicated psychiatric nurses, and an Intermediate Care Area for less urgent patients to reduce length of stay. Our providers collaborate with in-house radiologists, hospitalists, critical care physicians, and a multidisciplinary team of medical and surgical specialists to provide the best care and adapt to emergency medicine innovations.About The JobLicensed Nursing Assistant & Unit Sec.Provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN and Licensed Nursing Assistant as part of the care delivery team. Under RN supervision, assists patients with daily tasks, personal care, emotional support, and complicated clinical skills. The RN supervises clerical responsibilities on patient units, including as filing, transcribing, charting, sorting patient information, acting as receptionist, receiving and guiding visitors, and answering the phoneWhat You’ll DoActivities of daily livingReport all observations, symptoms, deviations from normal, and changes in patient’s condition to RNProvide basic support to patients and familiesConsults with and/or communicates questions and concerns to the Emergency Department Lead Tech or other members of the ED Leadership Team.Who You AreHigh school diploma or equivalent required One (1) year Licensed Nursing Assistant experience required. Emergency Department experience preferred. Phlebotomist experience preferred.Current New Hampshire licensure as LNA requiredAbility to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. CPI Foundation and CPI Advanced certification required within six (6) months of date of hire.
