CNC Machining Setup/Operator-Weekend

*Key Responsibilities*
* Workholding (vises, fixtures, custom setups)
* Tooling installation and offsets
* Program loading and verification
* Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and process documentation
* Perform inspections and in-process checks using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gages, CMM as applicable)
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
* Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programs, or material
* Maintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirements
* Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are clean and in proper working order
* Document production, inspection results, and any deviations
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes
* Follow all safety procedures and company policies
*Qualifications*
* 3+ years of CNC milling setup and operation experience (or equivalent training)
* Proficiency reading blueprints and understanding GD&T
* Experience with common CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc CNC, Haas CNC)
* Strong knowledge of cutting tools, feeds/speeds, and machining strategies
* Ability to use precision inspection equipment accurately
* Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) is a plus
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 per week
