Position Type:Maintenance/Custodial/Custodian Date Posted:2/20/2026 Location:Tri-City United Schools ISD2905 Closing Date:open until filled District:Tri-City United Schools POSITION: Custodian/Maintenance, Full Time DESCRIPTION: Full-time, 8 hours per day Monday-Friday LOCATION: District-wide as needed STARTING DATE: As soon as possible after hiring process SALARY: Per TCU Custodian Contract $22.10/hour Additional stipends for certifications, per contract .20-.45/hour if possess a boiler/engineer license .25/hour if possess a Pool Certification(CPO license) REPORTS TO: Building Engineer/Lead & Facilities Director DATE OF POSTING: 2/20/2026 & 3/26/2026 JOB SUMMARY:Provide custodian/maintenance duties in schools in the district as needed. The Custodian/Maintenance person will perform general cleaning, groundskeeping and maintenance of facilities to provide a clean and safe environment for students and staff. QUALIFICATIONS:High School Degree earned or equivalent experience. Good physical condition, ability to work in confined areas (ie: boiler room) and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with no physical restrictions. Experience working with school district maintenance, procedures, methods and policies and the ability to properly instruct and oversee subordinates. Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and appropriate dress and appearance. Personal attributes necessary for working within a team setting and creating an inviting and welcoming environment.
