Responsibilities:
Build migration frameworks: Design and implement tooling that transforms legacy CAD/RMS/JMS data into our platform's schema—handling edge cases, validation, and rollback
Automate configuration: Build systems that validate, version, and deploy complex agency configurations with confidence
Create integration scaffolding: Develop reusable patterns for state/federal data exchanges and third-party peripheral integration
Design data schemas: Own the configuration and integration data models that support multi-tenant, compliance-heavy deployments
Reduce implementation toil: Partner with Implementation Engineers to understand their pain points and build tooling that eliminates repetitive manual work
7+ years in software engineering, with significant experience building internal tooling or platform capabilities
Data pipeline expertise—you've built ETL systems, migration frameworks, or data transformation tooling
Schema design experience—you've modeled complex domains and evolved schemas without breaking production
Automation mindset—you see manual processes and instinctively think about how to eliminate them
Production systems experience—you've operated what you've built; you understand the difference between working code and reliable systems
