Job Overview Job ID: 2767370 Specialty: Family Practice Start Date: As soon as credentialed. Provider presented should be available to start within 4 weeks. Exception will be made for providers who have previously worked with Sea Mar. Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Schedule: Monday-Friday Work Details: Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to. Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT. 40hrs/week. Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 16 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced. Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages. Department Description: Community Health Center. Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus. OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management. They will consider providers for a minimum of 3 days/week if they are local and do not require housing. They maybe caring for same day walk in patients. EMR: EPIC Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care. Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3. Practice Setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center Travel Logistics: Specific travel client will pay for: Flight, rental car or mileage and lodging. Requirements: Board Certification: Required License Required: Active WA license required. Will not consider non-licensed candidates DEA: Active WA DEA required Certifications Required: Will be discussed at time of credentialing. If any certs are required, provider will be responsible for obtaining. (BLS, ACLS, etc.) MUST have clean background. No malpractice will be considered. MUST have minimum of 2 years experience as an FNP and face to face patient contact within past year. Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks Spanish or Russian speakers are a plus. Name clear required Must be covid and flu vaccinated IMPORTANT OT INFORMATION: OT is only approved by the HCA/CMO if providers exceed working the daily productivity expectation of 18 PATIENTS PER SHIFT FOR NP JOBS, 21 PATIENTS PER SHIFT FOR PHYSICIAN JOBS. Otherwise, NO OVERTIME will be approved and the HCA will modify timesheets as needed. If the provider exceeds working the daily productivity expectation (18 PATIENTS PER SHIFT) OT will be approved and paid per contract and option of covering Saturday for OT rate. Charting time is NOT PAID; ONLY direct patient care time. BEFORE STARTING THE CONTRACT, MANY PROVIDERS FEEL LIKE THEY CAN KEEP UP WITH THE FAST PACED ENVIRONMENT AND PATIENT QUOTA OF 18 PATIENTS PER SHIFT (NP) OR 21 PATIENTS PER SHIFT (MD); HOWEVER, WE HAVE HAD MANY CANCELLATIONS MID-CONTRACT DUE TO PROVIDERS FALLING BEHIND THE PATIENT QUOTA AND STILL LOGGING OT THAT WILL NOT BE PAID. PLEASE CONFIRM WITH YOUR PROVIDER THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS OT PATIENT QUOTA RULE AND ARE COMFORTABLE WITH THIS BEFORE COMMITTING TO AN INTERVIEW.
