Junior Engineer, Java / .NET / C# Developer (Hybrid)

The ideal candidate has experience in full-stack programming (.NET/Java/C#, Angular/React, SQL), in addition to experience with testing frameworks, build tools, UI implementation, and securely implementing user auth. Due to the nature of this role, occasional on-site work in the Washington D.C. metro area will be required. Candidates over 50 miles from Washington, D.C. will not be considered for this role.   Responsibilities: • Develop critical applications and deliver software within a team in an Agile environment.• Fluency developing and enhancing APIs with a strong foundation of software engineering principles.• Flexibility to support the entire software lifecycle, building both front and back-end systems and integrations.• Ability to navigate complex systems and iterate on established code bases effectively.• Strong communication skills at both a personal and organizational level.• Ability to engage with clients’ needs while providing strong technical skills.• Maintain exceptional code quality.• Implement application requirements and support software into production.Relevant Technologies:• Full Stack Application programming – Java .NET or C# • Frontend Development – JavaScript / JavaScript Frameworks (Angular/React)• Full Stack Architecture – Web Proxies, Blob Storage, API Gateway• Testing Frameworks – Junit, Mockito, Jasmine, Protractor • Version Control – Git, GitHub, Gitlab• SQL – MSSQL, OracleDB, PostgreSQL, etc.• Build Tools – Maven, Gradle, WebPackMinimum Requirements:• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.• Located within 50 miles of Washington, D.C., due to occasional on-site requirements.• 2+ Years of experience with full-stack development• 2 + Years of experience with Java, .NET or C#• Fluency with Git• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.• Strong desire to impact the world by working on a mission-critical systems.• Bachelor’s degree or higher. Preferred Requirements:• Experience supporting the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).• Active DHS Public Trust (or higher) clearance.• 3+ Years of experience in designing 508 compliant user interfaces• Experience with containerization (Docker, K8’s etc.)• Experience with CICD build and deployment tools
