This position is responsible for communicating with the customer, estimating team, sub-contractors, operations, and project superintendent. Ensuring all material arrivals, crew scheduling and time frames are met on the job. Tracking the time frames of customer sign offs, orders and procuring the job with team members. Reporting on the production and time frames on the job, keeping internal teams and external sub-contractors in the know of the job specifics and timeframes. Tracking change orders and delivering on desired change order requests. Tracking job cost on estimated vs budgeted per PC requested time frames.Duties / ResponsibilitiesGenerate new leads through networking, prospecting, cold calling, and industry eventsProactively follow up on inbound and outbound leadsConduct site visits and client consultations to assess needs and recommend solutionsPresent grain system solutions clearly, emphasizing value and ROIBuild and maintain a strong sales pipelineDevelop and deliver timely, accurate estimates and proposalsNegotiate and close sales agreements while maintaining profitabilityMaintain accurate reporting and sales tracking through CRM toolsFollow up on all quotes and scope development opportunitiesCollaborate with operations and project teams to ensure smooth project handoffMaintain ongoing client relationships to generate repeat and referral businessStay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategiesRequired Skills / AbilitiesInteract with customers to verify their project needs.Procuring materials needed on the job.Communicate timeframes and update process of specific job.Coordinate sub crews.Finalize project details and ensure profitable job completion.Job creation and expansion of the Summit brand in areas of responsibility.Promote and uphold a strong safety culture by ensuring all job sites operate in compliance with company safety policies.Maintain accurate and timely project updates, safety notes, and status tracking in ClickUp to ensure clear communication, accountability, and visibility across teams.This is a safety-sensitive position and may be subject to applicable safety regulations and requirements.Must have the ability to travel and drive long distances as needed.This role includes a balance of computer-based work and may include physical work on job sites, as needed.Occasional overnight travel may be required based on project location and scheduling needs.All other duties as assigned.Education / ExperienceAssociates or Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or 2+ years of building knowledgeProven experience and knowledge in client relations, drafting, and written communication.Proven experience in problem-solving, and critical thinking.Must possess a valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to travel to job sites and client meetingsAbility to work outdoors during site visitsAbility to operate in varying weather conditionsOur Benefits Package IncludesHealth, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance CoveragePTO and Holiday Pay401(k) with Company MatchCompany Clothing AllowanceShort- and Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany VehicleCell Phone StipendTravel Per DiemUncapped Tiered Commission Incentive PolicyMonday–Friday Work ScheduleA company culture that is truly next to none!Our Core ValuesWe’ve Got Each Other’s BacksFirst and foremost, we are a team.
