Title: Project Management Consultant (2) Location: Juno Beach, FL Pay: $40.00-$46.00/hour Schedule: Standard Office Hours Duration: 12-Month Contract In this role, you will support and manage early-stage solar construction projects within a large renewable energy organization. Working under limited direction from a Regional Lead Project Manager, you will contribute across technical, commercial, construction, and financial functions. This position offers strong opportunities for career growth within the project management track. This is an in-office role based in Juno Beach, FL within the Pre-Construction (early-stage) group. Job ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will manage and support a portfolio of solar projects through early-stage development. Key responsibilities include:Leading assigned solar projects through the early-stage lifecycle in preparation for transition to the construction teamEnsuring projects are technically feasible, financially viable, commercially supported, and aligned with schedule expectationsAnalyzing technical and financial data to identify trends, risks, and key project indicatorsSupporting the development, ownership, and management of project capital budgetsCoordinating development and permitting activities with internal subject matter expertsSupporting engineering efforts and assisting in technical problem resolutionContributing to construction planning, scheduling, and project optimization initiativesAssisting with negotiation and execution of commercial contractsManaging project data, deliverables, and workflows across multiple software platformsSupporting communication with senior leadership alongside the Regional LeadPerforming additional project coordination and administrative tasks as needed to ensure team readiness and project successEssential Duties and FunctionsOversee daily progress and coordination of assigned projectsTrack and manage project milestones, risks, and deliverablesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, and constructionMaintain accurate project documentation and reportingSupport budget tracking, approvals, and financial forecastingAssist in identifying and implementing process improvementsEnsure alignment with internal standards, procedures, and project objectivesKnowledge & SkillsStrong analytical and financial modeling capabilitiesBasic understanding of technical and mechanical systemsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with standard business and project management software toolsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyEducation & ExperienceRequired:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProactive, self-driven mindsetAbility to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environmentCapability to work independently with limited supervisionPreferred:Experience in construction, energy, or solar industriesExposure to project management principles or environmentsStrong interest in pursuing a career in project managementCombination of technical aptitude and financial/business acumen
