This role focuses on analyzing complex data sets, improving data quality, and delivering actionable insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise and domain experience in P&C insurance or reinsurance.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, review, and document existing data assets across multiple source systems Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies Document current processes, data flows, and system limitations Create data mapping documents and define transformation rules Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to align on reporting requirements Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems Identify and document data quality issues and inconsistencies Provide insights through ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and data profiling Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, MIS, or related field 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in P&C insurance or reinsurance domain Strong expertise in SQL (must-have) Experience with data analysis tools/languages such as Python or R Solid understanding of policy and claims management systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills Experience working with data quality, data profiling, and data governance concepts Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
