Description Job Overview Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic organization in San Diego to identify an experienced HR Compensation Manager for a long-term project engagement. This role will lead critical global compensation initiatives, with a strong focus on consolidating and analyzing international bonus plan data. The consultant will serve as a strategic partner to HR and Finance, driving data integrity, consistency, and actionable insights across global markets. This is a highly project-driven role ideal for a consultant who thrives in ambiguous environments, enjoys building structure from unorganized data, and brings deep expertise in global compensation practices. Key Responsibilities Lead the consolidation of global bonus plan data across multiple regions into a standardized, centralized format Develop and maintain a historical compensation dataset to track trends, plan structures, and regional variations Analyze the global cost of bonus programs, including currency conversions and market-specific considerations Transform and organize unstructured data from spreadsheets and disparate sources into cohesive reporting tools Partner closely with HR and Finance leadership to align compensation strategies with business objectives Provide compensation benchmarking support for open requisitions, ensuring alignment with market data and internal equity Support and advise on job leveling frameworks to enhance organizational consistency and structure Deliver insights and recommendations on broader compensation initiatives and projects Utilize advanced Excel capabilities for data modeling, analysis, and reporting Leverage and refine existing datasets to improve accuracy, completeness, and usability Requirements Qualifications 5+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards, ideally in a consulting or project-based capacity Strong background in global compensation analysis, including bonus/incentive plan design and evaluation Proven ability to work with large, unstructured datasets and build scalable reporting solutions Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data modeling) Experience collaborating cross-functionally with HR and Finance stakeholders Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday is preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment TalentMatch Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
