Account CoordinatorLocation: Purchase, NY (hybrid schedule) Position OverviewA fast-paced, high-touch organization is seeking an Account Coordinator to support order processing and coordination across sales, suppliers, and customers. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless customer experience by managing orders end-to-end and maintaining close communication with all stakeholders. This position operates in an extremely time-sensitive environment, where many transactions require same-day execution and real-time problem solving. Success in this role requires urgency, precision, and the ability to proactively manage moving pieces across the supply chain. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of orders, including entry, tracking, and documentation to ensure accuracy and efficiencyMaintain real-time updates on order status, logistics, and delivery timelinesReview and approve supplier/vendor invoices and ensure timely, accurate billingTake full ownership of accounts, proactively identifying issues and driving resolutionsManage orders that often require same-day turnaround from production to shipment and deliveryMonitor shipment timing closely, escalating delays and resolving issues in real timeMaintain constant communication with suppliers, carriers (trucking/rail), and internal teams to ensure on-time executionQuickly adjust priorities to address time-sensitive disruptions across the supply chainProvide timely updates to customers on production, shipment, or delivery changesPartner closely with Sales to flag unexpected costs, delays, or risksBuild strong, responsive relationships with suppliers and logistics partnersWork with suppliers to confirm production readiness and coordinate logistics executionPartner with internal teams (Sales, Accounting, Credit, Logistics) to ensure order accuracy and financial alignmentSupport inventory coordination, including consignment or buffer stock where applicableIdentify and resolve supply chain or logistics issues quickly and effectivelyBalance multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-moving environmentContinuously look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency Required QualificationsExperience in order processing, trade services, customer service, or inside sales within a logistics, supply chain, or trading environmentProven ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive transactions with tight turnaround requirementsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders Compensation & GrowthSalary range of $85,000-$95,000, commensurate with experience.Competitive benefits package: medical, vision, dental and 401k match offered.
