With Hana's extensive security experience, you'll have the training, standards, and team support to succeed in this vital role.Position SummaryThe Site Manager is responsible for the overall supervision and leadership of the security team, including Lieutenants and Security Officers (S/Os), ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all contractual, regulatory, financial and profitability expectations, and Company standards. This role requires exceptional leadership, integrity, and operational oversight to uphold the Company's Core Values and maintain a professional, high-performing security force.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeadership of LieutenantsWorks with the Project Manager (PM) to foster a "one-team" culture among Lieutenants, ensuring unified responsibility for all security operations at the site.Promotes teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to the Company's Core Values:Treat everyone with dignity and respectValue each other as Ohana (family)Ensure the safety and well-being of our ?OhanaLive Pono (honestly and honorably)Strive for excellencePositive Work EnvironmentPartners with management to promote a respectful and inclusive work environment for all employees.Ensures all staff uphold the Company's Core Values and treat one another with dignity and respect.Lieutenant SchedulesDevelops and maintains Lieutenant schedules to ensure:24/7 supervisory coverage of security operations;Effective collaboration across all shifts; andAdequate opportunities for Lieutenants to take approved leave.S/O Schedule ImplementationOversees implementation of S/O shift schedules as approved by the PM.Ensures timely publication, coverage of call-offs, and last-minute schedule adjustments to prevent open posts.Ensures all scheduling activities comply with Company policies, procedures, and applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) commitments.Guard Force DisciplineMaintains work discipline among S/Os to ensure effective site security and compliance with all contractual and Company requirements.Exercises authority to issue disciplinary action in accordance with the Company's Progressive Disciplinary Policy and applicable laws.AttendanceOversees consistent and fair enforcement of the Company's attendance policy in alignment with the Progressive Disciplinary Policy.Develops and maintains an attendance tracking system for all S/Os assigned to the contract.Performance RecognitionWorks with the management team to promote a culture of recognition and reward for outstanding performance.Implements the Company's Spot Award and other recognition programs fairly, consistently, and in compliance with Company policies and Core Values.Quality Control (QC)Ensures Lieutenants conduct QC inspections at the start of each S/O shift and periodically thereafter.Supports the PM in adhering to the Company's Quality Control Program, including testing S/O knowledge of post orders, visitor management, and other site duties.Safety InspectionsConducts safety inspections of the work environment to identify and mitigate potential hazards.Reminds Lieutenants and S/Os of seasonal or situational safety concerns (e.g., adverse weather, pandemic protocols, slip-and-fall risks) in accordance with the Company Safety Plan.RecruitingAssists the PM with the screening, interviewing, and hiring of S/O candidates.Coordinates and facilitates the onboarding process for new employees as needed.Emergency BackfillProvides emergency post coverage for Lieutenant or S/Os to ensure no gap in site security or perimeter integrity.Payroll / TimekeepingReviews, corrects, and approves timesheets and payroll discrepancies to ensure accuracy and timely submission.AdministrationPerforms administrative duties as directed by the PM, including but not limited to preparing reports, conducting investigations, assisting with contract compliance, drafting policies, and supporting other operational or administrative needs.Other DutiesSupport Hana's mission and uphold company standards of ethics, integrity, and professional excellence at all times.Other Duties.
