Fixed Income Business Analyst

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team, supporting the modernization of Credit Markets activity. This role will focus on improving the US Credit Markets platform through technology integration, workflow automation, data analysis, and process enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience within financial services and a strong understanding of Credit Markets and fixed-income products.Responsibilities: Gather and document business and technical requirementsWork closely with business users, developers, and stakeholders across projectsAnalyze structured and unstructured data to improve data quality and reportingCreate reports and dashboards to support business and management teamsSupport workflow automation and reconciliation initiatives within Credit MarketsDevelop functional specifications, use cases, and process documentationParticipate in testing, validation, and implementation activitiesProvide ongoing user support and assist with training when neededIdentify opportunities for operational improvements and process efficienciesQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or related field5–9 years of Business Analyst experience within financial servicesStrong understanding of fixed income products and Credit Markets operationsExperience with business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization toolsFamiliarity with workflow automation and system integration initiativesExperience working in agile environmentsStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
