Construction Project Manager

Project Manager San Francisco General Contractor Busy, well-established SF general contractor is hiring a Project Manager to help run commercial and residential projects across the city. This is a fast-paced environment where things move quickly, and no two days look the same. We’re looking for someone who wants a long-term role — experienced PMs and motivated entry-level candidates are both welcome, and we’re willing to train the right person. THE ROLE Take projects from contract through closeout — managing subcontractors, scheduling, budgets, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and client and project communication. You’ll be the point person keeping jobs on time, on budget, and to spec. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Required of every candidate Strong computer skills — confident in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive), and Adobe Acrobat, and quick to pick up construction software (project management, scheduling, document tools) Excellent communication skills — comfortable dealing with clients, engineers, architects, and city officials, as well as our field and office crews Thrives in a fast-paced environment — able to juggle multiple jobs, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines without dropping the ball Highly organized and reliable Seeking a long-term role with the company Experienced candidates Proven construction project management experience, ready to run jobs from day one Strong on scheduling, cost tracking, and subcontractor coordination Confident reading drawings and managing the paperwork that keeps a job moving Familiar with San Francisco permitting and inspection processes Entry-level candidates A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are essential Some construction experience and/or office experience is a plus WHAT WE OFFER Steady flow of work — we stay busy year-round A tight, supportive team that backs each other up Full training and real room to grow with the company Pay: $52,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
