Senior Java Architect

Java Architect VDISYS is seeking a Java Architect V as part of the Enterprise Innovation Team. This resource will be working in a collaborative environment to conduct and participate in technical and functional evaluations. They will also be responsible for facilitating the onboarding of products and conducting the test assessments on those products.Job Responsibilities:Provide input to The Exchange platform/product strategyAlignment with Digital transformation strategyReview and assessment of The Exchange platform architecture refinementGuidance on Public & Protected API integrationArchitecture assistance on Innovation pilots/solutionsAligning the security architecture for both The Exchange & PilotsSkills:Creativity, negotiation skills, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability.Strong knowledge of AWSStrong knowledge of Java, Angular, and API ManagementMEGA Enterprise Architecture Tool Suite neededEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree in architectural design or related field required.10+ years minimum experience required (overall)Must have at least 5 years of Architect level experienceAdditional details:Main location is Herndon but will travel to DC occasionallyNo remote workOpen to nonlocal candidatesNo OT or expenses allowed
