CT Technologist

Associated Health Professionals, Inc., JCAHO Certified, Has an exciting Urgent opportunity for a CT Technologist for the VA in San Diego, CA. Long term contract available. 2 years of CT continuous experience within the past 3 years required. Per diem 2 days per week pays $1136/wk/ $59’072/yr. SCHEDULE – build your own schedule - Per Diem or Full time – Hourly rate is $71/hr. • 8 hour shift • Day shift – 8-4:30 & Eve Shift -1:30p –mid & Mid-8am - weekends • Monday to Friday and weekends Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our medical team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Duties: - Perform CT scans on patients as requested by referring physicians. - Prepare and position patients for CT imaging procedures. - Operate and maintain CT equipment in accordance with established protocols. - Ensure patient safety during procedures and follow radiation safety guidelines. - Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper documentation of procedures. - Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results. Experience: - Prior experience in performing CT scans and operating CT equipment. - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, diagnostic evaluation, and medical terminology. - Experience working in an urgent care setting, hospital or Level I Trauma Center is advantageous. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. REQUIREMENTS: -2 years of CT continuous experience within the past 3 years required - Copy of valid, current, unrestricted licenses and certifications.- ARRT -CT , BLS, IV certification - Familiar with all radiographic diagnostic, surgery procedures, portable (including C-Arm), and routine general diagnostic exams. PACS work experience is required. - 2-3 Professional references - A list of all states in which the contract health care practitioner currently holds or has held a license to practice related services.
