This is a high-profile, stand-alone role where youwill be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects and offer strategic guidance tomitigate risks and support business growth.Salary up to €65KRole & ResponsibilitiesDrafting and negotiating contractsManaging disputes, and providing strategic legal guidance to mitigate riskAdvising senior management on risk mitigation strategiesRepresenting the Group in legal proceedings where necessaryEnsure contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirementsMaintain a structured contract management systemHandle customer complaints, warranty claims, and disputes to minimize legal risksManage litigation, working with external legal counsel when necessaryOversee dispute resolution strategies, including mediation and arbitrationCorporate Governance & Risk ManagementDevelop policies to prevent legal risks and regulatory compliance breachesManage trademarks, copyrights, and brand protection strategiesEnsure marketing materials comply with advertising regulationsAddress counterfeit or fraudulent activities affecting the dealershipOversee legal aspects of property acquisitions, leases, and facility agreementsEnsure compliance with financial regulations related to vehicle financing, lending, and credit agreementsWork with the finance department to address legal issues related to loans, lease agreements, and warrantiesEducation, Skills & ExperienceLLMMust possess a warrant to practice law in Malta5+ years of experience in commercial law (in Malta)Experience in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolutionClear communication skills in English & Maltese, both written and verbalAbout the RoleUp to €65KOffice based (hybrid)Reporting in to the CEO and COOOngoing professional development and mentoringFlexible working arrangementsHealth insurance coverageEmployee referral schemeExclusive employee discounts#J-18808-Ljbffr
