It ensures tasks run at the right time, in the right sequence, and with dependencies correctly handled.Key Components / Modules:Master Domain Manager (MDM): Central controller of schedules and jobs.Dynamic Workload Console (DWC): Web-based interface for managing jobs and workflows.Job Scheduling Console (JSC): GUI for scheduling, monitoring, and managing jobs.Agents: Deployed on servers to execute jobs remotely.Event-Driven Scheduling: Triggers jobs based on events or dependencies.Backup MDM / Swing MDM: High availability and disaster recovery configurations.Typical Use Cases:Batch job scheduling in financial services, insurance, retail, and IT operations.Automating ETL, report generation, and end-of-day processing.Ensuring job dependencies, alerts, and SLA compliance.Migration of on-prem workloads to cloud (AWS/Azure) while preserving schedule integrity. Required Skills / Expertise for TWS Professionals:Advanced configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of TWS.Experience with TDWC, JSC, MDM, and agent management.UNIX/Linux system administration and shell scripting.Integration with DB2, WebSphere, and other enterprise systems.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud migrations (AWS preferred).ITIL processes, ServiceNow, monitoring, and performance tuning.
