This position supports the organization's compliance framework by identifying, logging, and escalating critical updates and alerts, maintaining compliance documentation, and assisting with training initiatives. Monitoring & Analysis: Review compliance mailbox and industry portals daily for regulatory and card scheme updates and alerts; analyze bulletins and escalate critical items promptly; complete scanning activity and action outcomesDocumentation & Reporting: Log updates in shared compliance workbooks and maintain accurate records; prepare compliance reports and dashboards for leadership reviewCommunication & Escalation: Flag urgent updates and escalate to the Manager and Director within defined timelines; support stakeholder communication by collaborating with Independent Sales Organizations (ISO) partners and/or drafting summariesTraining Support: Assist in developing training materials for quarterly and ad-hoc compliance sessions; track attendance and completion ratesIncident Management: Document missed or delayed updates in the Compliance Incident Log; contribute to corrective action plans and post-incident reviewsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field2+ years of experience in Merchant Acquiring compliance, ISO risk management, or financial servicesStrong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., Code of Conduct, FINTRAC, CFPB, FTC, FinCEN) and card scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance tracking toolsLIFE AT KORT PAYMENTSWe believe work should be fulfilling and fun!
