You will be building the operations department within a new business division, Nexus (www.gelblaster.com/nexus). We are looking for someone who is willing to get their hands dirty and eventually grow to manage teams of people. This role will report to our CEO. What You’ll Be Responsible For:Build and lead the operations department for Gel Blaster Nexus. Teams within this department will include supply chain management, logistics, demand planning, and onsite Nexus installers. Create and manage the department’s quarterly and annual budgeting process. Establish executive facing reports and plans for the department.Manage Logistics with Nexus supply chain partners & manufacturers:Keep track of supply chain partners for all Nexus components.Coordinate and support engineers on sourcing.Create PO’s for Nexus parts and components.Coordinate with the Finance Department for payments to supply chain partners.Coordinate with LTL partners for shipping of Nexus Components to Nexus Manufacturers and to the Nexus Warehouse.Coordinate with the warehouse team to receive & inventory components of Nexus into the warehouse.Develop processes & KPIs between teams to maximize efficiency of Nexus logistical tasks. FEC Implementation:Work with Customer Success and Sales Team to plan and execute FEC installations.Work with the warehouse team to ensure timely provisioning, kitting, picking, and packing of Nexus systems.Manage the shipment of Nexus Systems from the warehouse. Coordinate with LTL partners for freight of Nexus Systems to customers.Work with Finance to ensure customers are being invoiced correctly and on time.Work with the Netsuite team to ensure that customers are input into Netsuite correctly and updated as needed.Organize contracts, implementation forms, PO’s, BOL’s, and other documents related to customers.Ensure all implementation steps with customers are tracked and completed.Work closely with the Customer Success and Arena Design Teams to ensure installation timelines are up to date based on real time changes.Work with the Customer Success team to schedule installation and training teams.Coordinate logistics, travel, and lodging for installation and training teams.Budget and create financial reports of Nexus System install costs.Work with the marketing team for any Nexus Systems needed for tradeshows and events related to Nexus. Partner with Customer Support to develop and maintain Nexus Care back-end system for repairs, replacements, & maintenance in collaboration with key stakeholders.What You Are Great At:Organizational Skills: Demonstrates exceptional ability to manage logistics, track multiple supply chain partners, and maintain organized documentation for contracts, POs, BOLs, and other important documents.Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in managing purchase orders, tracking implementation steps, invoicing customers, and coordinating shipments, preventing errors in inventory, billing, or documentation.Communication: Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with supply chain partners, engineers, finance, warehouse teams, and customers, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.Collaboration: Works closely with various teams, including customer success, sales, finance, marketing, engineering, and warehouse staff, ensuring effective collaboration for seamless execution of logistics and installation tasks.Problem-Solving: Exhibits the ability to address challenges proactively, developing processes to improve efficiency, handling real-time changes, and troubleshooting logistics or supply chain issues.Multitasking: Comfortable balancing diverse responsibilities such as sourcing components, coordinating shipments, scheduling installation teams, and collaborating on customer support while ensuring timely execution.Leadership & Initiative: Takes ownership of logistics processes, system implementations, and customer interactions, driving process improvements and ensuring a high level of operational efficiency.Customer-Centric: Focused on ensuring customer satisfaction by working closely with the Customer Success and Sales Teams to meet customer needs, manage installations, and provide ongoing support and repairs for Nexus Systems.Time Management: Able to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively, coordinating timely provisioning, kitting, packing, and shipping of components and systems.Analytical: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyze supply chain metrics, and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and solve logistical challenges.Adaptability: Flexible and able to adjust to real-time changes in timelines, customer requirements, or operational needs, ensuring smooth execution of logistics and installations.Hands on: Willingness to "get hands dirty" and be actively involved in day-to-day logistics operations, including working directly with warehouse teams, handling shipments, and overseeing the physical processes required for component assembly, kitting, and system installations.What Makes You The Ideal Fit:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations, with specific experience in B2B (Business-to-Business) environments.Familiarity with FEC (Family Entertainment Centers) operations, installations, or related logistics, and the ability to coordinate large-scale system installations in such environments.Experience in project management, including managing timelines, budgets, and multiple stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks, especially in relation to system installations and supply chain coordination.Proven track record of managing complex supply chains, coordinating with multiple partners, and overseeing the shipment and inventory management of components and systems.Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, sales, and customer success to streamline processes and ensure operational efficiency.Proficiency in using platforms like Microsoft Office, G Suite, NetSuite and internal systems for tracking customer details, invoices, and logistics operations, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.Competent in budgeting, creating financial reports, and coordinating with the finance department for payments, invoicing, and cost management related to supply chain and installation.Available outside of regular business hours, including weekends and evenings.*Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.**Please note: This job description is only a summary of the typical job functions, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
