Senior Fullstack Engineer

We’re partnering with a mission-driven technology company building modern software systems for defense and government customers. They’re looking to bring on a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help design, build, and scale secure, production-grade applications that operate in high-stakes environments.This is a high-impact role working on systems that directly support national security, operational decision-making, and next-generation defense capabilities.What You’ll DoDesign and build end-to-end features across backend services and frontend applicationsDevelop scalable APIs and services using Python (FastAPI, Django, or similar)Build intuitive, performant user interfaces with React and modern TypeScriptWork closely with product, design, and mission stakeholders to translate complex requirements into usable systemsContribute to system architecture, including cloud infrastructure and distributed systems designEnsure high standards for security, reliability, and maintainability (critical in gov/defense environments)Mentor junior engineers and help shape engineering best practicesWhat They’re Looking For5+ years of fullstack engineering experience in production environmentsStrong backend experience with PythonSolid frontend experience with React (and modern JS/TS frameworks)Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with secure software development practices and working in regulated environmentsAbility to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with high ownershipNice to HaveActive, previous or ability to obtain a U.S. Security ClearanceExperience working with government agencies, defense contractors, or regulated industriesExposure to data-heavy systems, real-time applications, or mission-critical platformsExperience with DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
