Semi Truck Driver (Valid CDL A Required)

Job Overview: MANUAL TRANSMISSION is a MUST! Pre-Employment Driving Test with Superintendent is Mandatory! Class A CDL, Tanker endorsement helpful, but not needed. We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over short/local distances while adhering to all safety regulations. Responsibilities: - Safely operate trucks to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations - Load and unload cargo following proper procedures - Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance - Plan routes and meet delivery schedules - Document and log work and miles spent driving and retain receipts - Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures - Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Qualifications: - Manual Transmission Operation is required - Valid Class A (CDL) with a clean driving record - Proven work experience as a truck driver - Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations - No recent moving or driving violations - Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) - High school diploma or equivalent Skills: - Tanker experience - Load/unload proficiency - Automotive repair knowledge - Delivery driver experience - Commercial driving expertise - Manual transmission operation skills - Heavy equipment operation familiarity Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week Benefits: 401(k) AD&D insurance Dental insurance Fuel card Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Safety equipment provided Vision insurance Experience: Driving: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: CDL A (Required) Work Location: In person
