This role requires a valid Journeyman Electrician license, a strong work ethic, and the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced field environment.QualificationsPreferred minimum 3 years of experience with residential electrical systemsValid Journeyman Electrician license requiredStrong knowledge of electrical theory, systems, and troubleshooting techniquesProficient understanding of NEC and local electrical codesStrong verbal and written communication, time management, and project coordination skillsAbility to interact courteously with team membersAbility and willingness to travel throughout the client's deployment marketEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixturesInspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagramsTest and diagnose electrical systems using appropriate tools and devicesPerform routine maintenance on electrical systemsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeopleComplete project worksheets accurately and on timeMaintain daily work calendar and time clock recordsCheck and respond to company email at minimum twice dailyManage van inventory and submit transfer emails to Administrative Assistant as requiredDriving RequirementsThis role requires operating a company-owned vehicle. Candidates must have an acceptable MVR. The following will disqualify a candidate:DWI/DUI, license suspension, reckless driving, drug charges, leaving the scene of an accident, vehicular homicide, or similar offenses within the past 5 yearsMore than two moving violations and one or more at-fault accidents in the past 3 yearsTwo or more at-fault accidents in the past 3 yearsPhysical RequirementsThis role involves regular lifting (up to 50 lbs.), carrying (up to 40 lbs.), stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders, standing, walking, and working with hands. Color vision, depth perception, and hearing are required.Work EnvironmentEmployees may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet or humid environments, fumes or dust, work near moving mechanical parts, and work in high or precarious places.EquipmentJourneymen are required to supply their own hand tools. Daisy Sarasota will provide additional equipment and materials as needed for assigned projects.Additional InformationWe are a smoke, alcohol, and drug-free environment.
