CNC Programmer Setup Machinist
Job Description
Summary:We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup / Programmer to join our team. This role requires a skilled machinist capable of setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment while maintaining high quality and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with a variety of machines and a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities:Set up, program, and operate CNC machines including Haas, Omni-Turn, and Okuma equipmentWork with vertical mills, manual lathes, and other machining equipmentInterpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specificationsCreate and edit CNC programs to optimize performance and efficiencyPerform first article inspections and in-process quality checksTroubleshoot machining and programming issues as they ariseSelect appropriate tooling, speeds, and feedsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety procedures and quality standardsCollaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet production goalsQualifications:5+ years of CNC setup and programming experience preferredExperience with Haas, Omni-Turn, Okuma machines, vertical mills, and manual lathesStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsProficiency with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksWillingness to work overtime as needed Compensation:Up to $35 per hour, based on experienceOpportunity to work with a stable carbon manufacturing company in a hands-on, production-driven environmentFull-time position (40 hours per week)Overtime required based on production needs1st and 2nd shift opportunities availableCompetitive pay based on experience Interview Process:Qualified candidates will be asked to demonstrate their programming ability by creating a CNC program during the interview process.If you are a motivated CNC professional looking to contribute your skills to a growing manufacturing team, we encourage you to apply.Benefits Package Includes:Competitive benefits package.
