Electrical Designer

Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our growing team. This individual will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to develop electrical system designs for a variety of building types. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a dynamic consulting environment. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical system designs including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systemsPrepare construction documents using Revit and AutoCADPerform load calculations, short circuit, and voltage drop calculationsCoordinate with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and architectural teamsAssist with specifications, reports, and construction administration tasksConduct site visits and field investigations as neededSupport senior engineers and project managers throughout project lifecycle QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology2–6 years of experience in MEP consulting engineering (preferred)Proficiency in Revit and AutoCADFamiliarity with NEC and applicable building codesStrong communication and organizational skillsEIT certification or on track to obtain (preferred) What We OfferCompetitive salary and two bonus's per yearHealth insurance (Employee +1 paid by G&V)401(k) with 3% Safe Harbor Annual Contribution by G&VPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development and support for licensure (FE/PE)Opportunity to work on impactful and community-focused projects Why Join UsAt Griffith and Vary, Inc., you’ll be part of a team that values technical excellence, mentorship, and career growth.
