The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all programs and events align with the institution's mission, strategic priorities, and values, and reflect academic excellence and inclusivity. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for alumni and donor programs, serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, and overseeing the logistics of major institutional events. The Executive Director will also be tasked with establishing assessment frameworks, managing budgets, and fostering strong cross-campus and external partnerships. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8-10 years' of progressive leadership experience in higher education, academic programs, or large-scale events, with a minimum of five years' in a management role. The role requires a strong understanding of shared governance, academic culture, and institutional operations, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in advancement, alumni relations, or donor-facing events is essential, as is a familiarity with leadership travel practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic and systems thinking, operational excellence, and the ability to make data-informed decisions.
