Sr. Accountant

DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Cranberry Twp., Pennsylvania. This Contract to permanent position involves managing full-cycle accounting processes to produce accurate and timely financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role also includes collaborating with business units to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive general ledger accounting, including preparing monthly financial statements, reconciling accounts, and conducting foreign currency translations.- Act as a liaison with business units to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning, providing financial analysis to inform decision-making.- Lead and manage various accounting projects, such as product profitability analysis, investment accounting, and tax filings.- Prepare financial presentations and analyses for executive leadership, finance committees, and board meetings.- Support external audits by providing required documentation and reconciling discrepancies.- Conduct account analysis and monitor financial transactions to safeguard company assets.- Utilize advanced tools like PowerBI and NetSuite to enhance reporting and analytics.- Oversee bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal standards.Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with PowerBI and NetSuite.- Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.- Solid experience with month-end close, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.- Public accounting experience is a plus.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
