Lead Cardiac Device Specialist

Position Summary Position oversees employees and daily workflows in the device clinic of the Cardiology practice and is responsible for tasks both clinical and administrative. Position is a working lead with 10-15% of time dedicated to lead responsibilities. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Associate of science degree or certificate in an Allied Health related program or equivalent work experience. License/Certifications: Completion and maintenance of Heart Rhythm Society exam required.; Current BLS. Experience: Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Device Specialist experience required. Knowledge of healthcare field and medical office protocols/procedures. Knowledge of safety, infection control and quality assurance protocols. Ability to act quickly and confidently at recognizing and acting upon critical patient situations. Demonstrates appropriate techniques with patients to achieve the highest quality patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, managers and staff. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks and have the flexibility to meet changing demands on a daily basis. Ability to project a pleasant and professional image even under stressful situations. Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficient computer skills.
