Ops Lead

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ops Lead to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of store management, sales, and customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring operational efficiency to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. The Ops Lead will play a pivotal role in team development, process improvement, and maintaining high standards across all store functions. Duties Lead and supervise daily store operations, including shift management and team coordination Oversee employee orientation, training & development to ensure staff are well-equipped for their roles Manage inventory control, purchasing, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product availability Handle customer service issues with professionalism and effective communication skills Conduct interviewing and recruiting efforts to build a strong, capable team Manage payroll processing, cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties accurately Assist in budgeting, sales management, pricing strategies, and retail math calculations Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales Maintain organized records through bookkeeping and administrative tasks Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards while fostering a positive work environment Skills Proven management experience with supervising teams in retail or similar settings Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff Excellent communication skills—bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution Experience in recruiting, employee orientation, training & development Competent in budgeting, merchandising, marketing strategies, and store management principles Organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Time management skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping and administrative tasks Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is highly desirable This role offers an opportunity for professional growth within a collaborative team environment.
