Electrical Design Engineer

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for various projects. This is a challenging role that requires a strong technical background and proficiency in various software tools. Job description: Drive electrical design reviews and collaborate with the cross-functional teams to accomplish project deliverables. Create electrical circuit designs with ORCAD, PCB layout review, and electrical BOM, electrical component selection, creation of schematic symbols and component part number management. Write documents and validate electrical designs to verify functional, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements. Resolve technical issues and communicate across functional teams. Review and qualify alternative electrical parts, and manage EOL parts for placement on current products. Ensure electrical designs meet EMC compliance requirements for certification. Your Skills Experience in designing electrical systems with Microprocessor, memory devices, power systems, high-speed transceivers, cellular modems, WiFi/BT/GNSS devices, and various serial interfaces such as 12C, 12S, SPI, UART, USB, MIPI, and other high-speed signals. Experience in OrCAD CIS schematic, Allegro PCB EDA tool, and strong laboratory skills with various electronic equipment. Proven ability in root cause analysis, complex design debugging, and problem-solving independently with minimal guidance. Good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently and cross functionally. Hands-on experience with electrical lab equipment, including high-speed signal performance analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc Preferred Skills and Requirements MS or BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 3+ years of experience in electrical design and related field for GNSS products This position may require travel; a valid U.S. passport and driver's license are necessary.
