TPF Testing Analyst

Job Title: TPF Testing AnalystLocation: RemoteJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced TPF Testing Analyst with strong expertise in testing applications running on Transaction Processing Facility (TPF) environments. The ideal candidate should have experience in mainframe testing, airline or travel domain applications, test planning, execution, defect management, and end-to-end validation of TPF-based systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business and technical requirements for TPF-based applications.Develop test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.Test applications running on TPF/ALCS environments.Validate transactions, messaging, interfaces, and backend processing.Execute test cases and document test results and defects.Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA teams to resolve issues.Perform defect tracking, root cause analysis, and regression testing.Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.Ensure application quality and compliance with defined testing standards.Required SkillsStrong experience in TPF Testing.Knowledge of IBM TPF or ALCS environments.Experience with Mainframe testing methodologies and tools.Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, and system testing.Experience in test case design and defect management.Knowledge of TPF transaction processing and messaging.Experience working with APIs and system integrations is a plus.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Preferred SkillsExperience in the Airline, Travel, or Hospitality domain.Knowledge of Sabre, airline reservations, booking, ticketing, or passenger systems is a plus.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Familiarity with JIRA or other test and defect management tools.Basic knowledge of TPF programming languages such as Assembler, C/C++, or Java is a plus.Experience6+ years of QA/Testing experience4+ years of hands-on TPF/ALCS Testing experience
