Personal Care AssistantWe are seeking an experienced compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential daily living assistance to medically fragile adults in their home. The ideal candidate will assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. We provide online and onsite training.This position in Newton county supports our client 30 hours per week - w/ every other weekend.Duties include but not limited to:Provide direct support to clients in their homeAssist individuals with ADL's including, housekeeping, bathing, grooming, toileting, hair washing, and personal hygiene and companionship.Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions, assist with eating as necessary.Turning and position of the clientTransfer and ambulationDressing or undressing the clientDrive client to appointments or outings as necessaryOffer caregiving services with empathy and respectAppropriate reporting of changes in client statusAbility to work with pediatric and adult populationQualifications:High school diploma, GED or higher educationMust be 18 years or olderValid Georgia drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportationFull vaccination including Seasonal Flu, Covid, T-Dap (Tetanus) and Hepatitis B or proof of immunityCompleted Personal Care training program and competencyCPR and First aid certificationMaturity and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the jobKnowledge of caregiving practices and techniquesHave sympathetic attitude toward the care of children, the sick and elderlyMust be reliable, flexible with time, and pays close attention to detail as it relates to patient care
