Culinary Assistant will maintain that the kitchen, dining area and storage area are clean and organized. Relationships and ContactsWithin the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with peers and accounting team members throughout STR Cedar Creek and affiliated facilities. Outside the organizationEstablish and maintain productive working relationships with third party vendors, as necessary. Position ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing healthy, flavorful menu optionsMaintain a clean and organized kitchenMonitor and record daily temperature logs for refrigerators and freezersEnsure high quality food and beverages are provided in timely mannerServe meals and snacks to clients with attention to special needsProvide food for clients when scheduled and as requestedMaintain all kitchen equipment and in an orderly and sanitary mannerSupport the proper rotation of food items to prevent unnecessary spoilageMaintain a pleasant and professional demeanor when interacting with clients Working knowledge and practice of state and local food safety standardsAny other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by the Executive Chef ISJP123 Minimum RequirementsEducation and ExperienceThis position requires a high School diploma/GED equivalent preferred. 1 or more years of prior food service in the human services field required. ServeSafe certification preferred.
