Peer Mentor
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Peer Mentor will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support individuals recovering from eating disorders by providing motivational interviewing, skill building, and facilitating support groups.
Key responsibilitiesMaintain an up-to-date calendar for patient session bookings and meet virtually with patients to tailor session content to their needs
Co-facilitate support groups for patients and their support systems while practicing responsible self-disclosure
Complete thorough documentation in accordance with Equip standards and participate in mandatory internal meetings and trainingRequired qualificationsLived experience with eating disorder recovery and ability to identify as being in a solid space of recovery
2+ years of experience working directly with patients in a care setting, such as mentorship or social work
Passion for helping patients and their families navigate eating disorder treatment
Ability to connect with diverse patients across varying diagnoses and acuity levels
Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven track record of meeting goals
