Start: ASAP End: Ongoing Reason: Supplemental OB/GYN coverage Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call Clinic: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (mostly return OB visits) Call: 24hour beeper call, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM Ask is for 6 7 twentyfourhour call shifts per month Call response time: 15 minute Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient required Patients per shift: 16 Annual deliveries: 800 Support staff: 4 RNs, 8 MAs, 3 PA/NPs Inpatient: fullscope OB including low/highrisk pregnancy, VBACs, Csections, breech, multiple gestations, complicated deliveries, 3rd/4th degree lac repairs, decisionmaking for Csection Clinic: return OB, office/minor GYN (IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryo, LEEP, etc.) Surgical GYN: open and laparoscopic (tubal ligation, LOA, ectopic, oophorectomy, cystectomy, extensive LOA) Hospital/surgery center privileges and admissions required
