Job Posting Position: GIS Developer Job Type: Full-time Location: Stillwater, MN, or Remote Position Description: RAMTeCH Software Solutions, Inc. is a global GIS consulting, systems integration, data management, and software solutions company specializing in the utility, energy, and telecommunications industries. We are seeking a GIS Developer to work in our Minneapolis/St. Paul Minnesota area office or remotely within the United States. As a GIS Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of GIS applications using the Esri ArcGIS platform. Position Requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and translate them into technical specifications Design and develop geospatial applications using ArcGIS APIs including ArcGIS Pro SDK, ArcObjects, and Maps SDK Customize and extend ArcGIS software to meet specific client needs Troubleshoot and debug software issues Experience with software engineering concepts, software architecture, user interface design, change management, and software/systems development life cycle for application development Keep abreast of industry trends, Esri updates, and emerging technologies to enhance development processes and outcomes Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to a collaborative development environment Experience and Education Required 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on ArcGIS technologies Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript Familiarity with Xamarin.Forms and/or .NET MAUI for iOS and Android platforms Hands-on experience with Esri's software stack, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online Experience developing integration solutions between GIS and ADMS, Work Management, and Asset Management systems Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or a related field Preferred Qualifications Esri ArcGIS Developer certifications Familiarity with the Esri utility data models (Utility Network Model) Experience working on GIS projects within electric and gas utilities or telecom Additional Job Details Travel: Moderate travel within the U.S. Work Authorization: U.S. citizenship required Join a global network of 3,000+ high-caliber people including an actively expanding North American operation, who collaborate and share an enthusiasm for successful project delivery.
