*ABOUT THE ROLE*Considering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.We are seeking a Sensor Integration Engineer to support the development and deployment of our Command & Control (C2) platform. This role is responsible for integrating cameras, radars, effectors, and other third-party systems into our software environment. This is a hands-on role that bridges software, hardware, and networking, with ownership from initial integration through full operational demonstration.*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Lead integration of sensors and external systems into the C2 platform* Analyze and work from ICDs, APIs, and technical documentation* Develop and implement software interfaces and adapters* Configure and validate data ingestion, fusion, and visualization* Test, troubleshoot, and validate system performance* Demonstrate successful integration of required capabilities* Maintain documentation (integration steps, configs, test results)* Serve as the technical point of contact for integration efforts* Support lab testing, field activities, and customer demonstrations*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Experience in software development (Python, C++, Java, or similar)* - Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, ports, firewalls)* - Experience working with APIs and data formats (REST, JSON, Protobuf, etc.)* - Experience integrating hardware or external systems (cameras, radars, etc.)* - Ability to work from technical documentation (ICDs, specs)* - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Experience with C2 systems or defense-related platforms* - Familiarity with sensor fusion concepts* - Experience with Linux and containerized environments (Docker/K8s)* - Cloud experience (AWS or similar)* - Cybersecurity awareness*EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERENCE** Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.* 5+ years' experience reviewing, testing, and evaluating source code.* 5+ years' experience developing in C# or similar (Java).* 5+ years' experience in the SDLC, including but not limited to requirements capture, design, development, test, EOL support.* 5+ years' experience working within an Agile development methodology. (Scrum, Kanban, SAFE, etc.)* 5+ years' experience with at least one major version control system (Git, SVN, etc.)* 3+ years' experience mentoring junior software engineers* Experience working with Docker containers* 3+ years' experience working on front- or back-end components or full stack web development* Experience working with Atlassian tool suite or similar (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket)* 5+ years' experience with Linux distros such as Ubuntu or Oracle* Experience with Blazor and .NET 6 and higher, Visual Studio or VS Code is a plus* Experience developing and implementing coding standards for zero-trust and/or mission-critical software* Must have an understanding of networking and networking protocols*LANGUAGE SKILLS*Must be able to read and produce systems engineering documentation including requirements documents, design documents, test documents, and reports; must be able to proof-read and edit engineering and user manuals. Must have an ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and peers.*MATHEMATICAL SKILLS AND REASONING ABILITY*Must have a university-level of understanding of arithmetic.
