Parlour - Cannabis Dispensary - Assistant Store Manager

About the RoleParlour - Golden Grail Group, a dynamic leader in the cannabis industry, is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Assistant Store Manager to support operations at one of our cannabis dispensary locations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on training, coaching, compliance, and sales execution. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to drive team performance, uphold brand standards, and ensure exceptional customer experience.In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager oversees daily operations, team development, compliance, and sales execution—upholding Golden Grail Groups core values and customer service standards at every turn.Key Responsibilities (In addition to all duties outlined in the Product Specialist role) Lead by example and hold team members accountable to exceptional customer service standardsSupport and model a customer-first culture, reinforcing the brand values and service experienceCollaborate with the Store Manager to hire, train, coach, and develop team members across all rolesDemonstrate operational competence across all positions (Receptionist, Product Specialist, Shift Lead)Maintain working knowledge of all company policies and regulatory compliance protocolsDelegate responsibilities effectively to ensure a smooth, efficient, and compliant workflowMonitor and uphold store cleanliness, organization, safety, and brand presentationAssist with forecasting, scheduling, and labor management in line with business trends and salesDrive execution of store promotions and track progress toward goalsSupport weekly inventory audits and product ordering from Wholesale PurchasingAssist in reviewing and validating daily POS transactions, METRC compliance, and employee timekeepingRole model and reinforce outstanding customer service through real-time coaching and feedbackConduct regular check-ins with the Store Manager to assess performance, goals, and development opportunitiesIdentify and mentor high-potential team members to support internal career advancement Represent the brand with integrity and professionalism, both in-store and in the communityRequirements· 21 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or equivalentValid OLCC Marijuana Worker PermitProven advancement in a supervisory or leadership roleStrong interpersonal and communication skillsReliable, punctual, and highly attentive to detailConfidence in multitasking and operating in fast-paced environmentsAbility to lead by example and coach others to succeedProficient in basic computer systemsWorking knowledge of POS platforms and METRC preferredMust have OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit to be considered for employment. (Reimbursed after completing 90 days of employment)Preferred Qualifications· Minimum 2 years of fast-paced retail experiencePrevious management experience with demonstrated growth in responsibilityWorking knowledge of OLCC cannabis regulationsStrong communication and customer service skillsPrior cannabis product knowledgePrevious experience with POS systems and cash handling Excellent organizational and time-management skillsScheduleDay shiftNight shiftMonday through Friday availabilityWeekend and holiday availabilityEducation· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Remote Work:· This position is on-site only and does not offer remote work opportunities.
