This role serves as the first point of contact for customers experiencing complex incidents, ensuring accurate documentation, empathetic communication, and efficient claim initiation.This position operates within a structured delivery environment, partnering with internal stakeholders to support timely and professional resolution of customer claims.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the initial point of contact for customers with complex claims, including property damage and personal injury incidentsConduct detailed intake calls, gathering all relevant information such as contact details, incident summaries, and supporting contextDocument claims accurately within internal systems to ensure proper case setup and downstream handlingEstablish trust with customers through clear, empathetic communication and set expectations for follow-up timelinesAssess claim complexity and route or escalate cases appropriately based on established processesCollaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoff and continuity throughout the claims lifecycleMaintain professionalism and composure when managing sensitive or escalated customer situationsSupport service-level expectations within a structured, high-volume contact center environmentQualifications2+ years of experience in customer service, call center, claims, or related environment preferredStrong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive or complex conversationsHigh attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational abilitiesAbility to multitask and navigate multiple systems during customer interactionsComfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environmentExperience in insurance, retail, or claims-related functions is a plusWhat Success Looks LikeAccurate and thorough claim documentation with minimal errorsPositive customer feedback and strong rapport-building during initial interactionsConsistent achievement of intake and service-level expectationsEffective collaboration with internal teams to support timely claim progression
