Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restaurant Staff member to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our restaurant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Duties - Greet and serve guests in a friendly and attentive manner, ensuring that every customer feels welcome and valued. - Prepare and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to the restaurant's high standards of quality and presentation. - Manage and operate point-of-sale systems, including Aloha POS, to ensure accurate orders and prompt payment. - Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. - Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, adhering to health and safety standards. - Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all orders are fulfilled and that the restaurant runs smoothly during peak periods. - Participate in training and learning opportunities to improve knowledge and skills. - Assist with banquets and special events, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that events are executed to the highest standard. Experience - Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant or similar hospitality environment is highly desirable. - Proven track record of excellent customer service and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. - Experience with POS systems, including Aloha POS, is a significant advantage. - Knowledge of food handling and preparation is essential. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances. - Physical stamina to stand for long periods and to lift and carry heavy objects as required. - Familiarity with sales techniques and a willingness to upsell and promote the restaurant's offerings. - Commitment to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant environment.
