Robotics Developer Jobs in Mexico (Remote) — Rex.zoneDesign, implement, and maintain robotics software for autonomous and semi-autonomous systems. You will build ROS/ROS2 packages, integrate sensors, validate in simulation and hardware-in-the-loop, and deliver reliable releases with testing and observability.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver ROS/ROS2 nodes and libraries for perception, planning, and controlIntegrate sensors (LiDAR, IMU, cameras) and calibrate synchronization/frames (tf2)Implement and tune SLAM/localization and sensor fusion pipelinesBuild motion planning components and safety constraints (Nav2/MoveIt as applicable)Maintain simulation environments and scenario-based regression tests (Gazebo/Isaac Sim/RViz)Optimize CPU/GPU utilization and real-time performance on edge hardwareCreate logging/telemetry and replay workflows for debugging field issuesCollaborate with mechanical/electrical teams on interfaces, requirements, and acceptance criteriaRequired QualificationsExperience shipping robotics or autonomous systems softwareStrong C++ and Python skillsHands-on ROS/ROS2 experience (topics, services, actions, message design)Familiarity with SLAM, localization, and sensor fusion (EKF/UKF)Perception experience with OpenCV and/or 3D point cloud processingLinux, Git, and containerized workflows (Docker)NotesRemote role; some teams may require occasional travel for hardware integration or on-site testing (as specified per role).
