We are seeking a high-performing Assistant Project Manager to drive execution across multiple active project sites.If you solve problems before being asked and never let an email or call sit, we want to hear from you!Role SummaryThe APM serves as the critical link between the field, vendors, and the Project Manager. Your mission is to ensure that Client, materials, equipment, and documentation stay perfectly aligned so that field production never stalls. This is a fast-paced, field-driven position requiring extreme ownership and a high sense of urgency.Core ResponsibilitiesDaily Field Operations & Project CoordinationMaintain daily communication with site superintendents regarding labor and equipment needs.Proactively audit site requirements to ensure field teams can execute without interruption.Monitor job progress and escalate potential bottlenecks before they impact the schedule.Logistics & ProcurementCreate and track purchase orders for materials and specialized subcontractors.Manage the "last mile " of logistics, coordinating with the warehouse and vendors for delivery.Validate all orders for accuracy, completeness, and timing.Project AdministrationOwn the submittal process, tracking items from initial draft through final approval.Manage essential project documentation, including drawing logs, RFIs, and tracking tools.Attend and document project meetings and drive follow-up action items.Financial Support & Revenue CaptureSupport the PM in drafting and tracking change orders.Rigorously manage T&M (Time and Materials) tickets to ensure all extra work is documented and signed.Assist in protecting project margins through accurate cost and equipment tracking.Candidate ProfileRequired Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in commercial construction (General Contractor or Specialty Subcontractor background).Deep understanding of project sequencing, field operations, and trade coordination.Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment.Preferred Experience:Direct experience supporting multiple $1M+ projects simultaneously.High proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software.Strong background in submittals, RFIs, and change order workflows.What Success Looks LikeThe field never waits on information, equipment, or material.Change orders and "extra work " are captured in real-time, protecting the bottom line.The Project Manager is freed up to focus on high-level strategy because the day-to-day logistics are handled with precision.
