Machine Operator

Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated professional for a Machine Operator position based in Owego, NY 13827. This assignment is slated for a 12-month duration, with the possibility of an extension or a transition to a permanent role. Compensation is set between $20.00 and $21.00 per hour, and we have openings across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Primary Responsibilities Manage the operation of various light-duty equipment, including small lathes, power mills, drills, punch presses, extruding machines, shears, saws, and power brakes. Assist in the setup and calibration of machinery while performing routine maintenance to ensure peak performance. Utilize specialized gauges, jigs, and fixtures to verify that components meet precise tolerance requirements, including work on numerically controlled systems. Help maintain high production standards by monitoring and validating output quality through statistical process controls and established verification methods.
